Founded on December 7, 2006, Familias Triunfadoras, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in San Elizario, Texas, dedicated to improving the lives of women, children, and families throughout El Paso County and surrounding communities.

Our organization was established by Maria Covernali in response to the growing need for family-strengthening programs and community resources in underserved areas. Since then, we have remained committed to empowering individuals through education, advocacy, health promotion, and compassionate support.

We believe that every family deserves the opportunity to thrive. Too many individuals face barriers to healthcare, education, food security, and other essential resources. Familias Triunfadoras, Inc. was founded to help remove those barriers by connecting people with opportunities, education, and compassionate support. Our goal is not only to meet immediate needs but also to empower families to build lasting independence and brighter futures.
